What is the Emmaus Retreat?
The Emmaus Retreat is a Catholic spiritual experience inspired by the Gospel of Luke 24:13–35, where Jesus appears to two disciples on the road to Emmaus after His Resurrection.
During the retreat, participants experience a personal encounter with Jesus through prayer, reflection, testimonies, adoration, and community. It is an opportunity to pause from the noise of daily life, renew one’s faith, and rediscover God’s love in a deeper and more personal way.
The Road to Emmaus
Luke 24:13–35
“Stay with us, for it is nearly evening; the day is almost over.”
— Luke 24:29
“Were not our hearts burning within us while He talked with us on the road and opened the Scriptures to us?”
— Luke 24:32
The retreat takes inspiration from the moment the disciples recognized Jesus “in the breaking of the bread.” That same encounter continues transforming lives today.
